Community Standards
Community Standards
Last updated: March 8, 2026
FestEvental exists to help people create and attend remarkable events. These Community Standards define what we expect from everyone on the platform - organizers, attendees, vendors, venues, and speakers alike. Violating these standards may result in content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban.
1. Honest and Accurate Events
Event listings must accurately represent the event being offered.
- Event titles, descriptions, lineups, and formats must be truthful and not misleading
- Date, time, location, and ticket pricing must be correct at the time of listing and promptly updated if they change
- Events must not use bait-and-switch tactics - such as advertising a well-known performer or speaker without a confirmed booking
- Ticket prices must reflect all organizer charges; no hidden fees at checkout
2. Prohibited Event Types
The following types of events are not permitted on FestEvental regardless of how they are described or marketed:
- Events whose primary purpose is to recruit attendees into a business opportunity, investment program, or multi-tier compensation structure - including MLM recruitment events, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, and high-pressure sales seminars
- Events that promote, glorify, or facilitate illegal activity
- Events designed to defraud attendees or collect payment for services that will not be delivered
- Events that promote hate, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
If you are unsure whether your event may fall into one of these categories, please contact us before listing.
3. Safety
Organizers are responsible for the safety of their events.
- Events must comply with all applicable local laws, including venue capacity limits, permits, and health regulations
- Organizers must not knowingly create conditions that present a foreseeable safety risk to attendees
- Events associated with a history of safety incidents or known bad actors may be removed at our discretion
If your email address is rejected during registration, that is intentional. We are already aware of your history and you are not welcome on FestEvental.
FestEvental actively monitors account registrations and platform activity. We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or remove access at any time where we determine it is in the interest of the platform or its community.
4. Respect
All users of FestEvental are expected to treat others with basic respect.
- Harassment, threats, or abuse directed at other users - whether organizers, attendees, vendors, or platform staff - will not be tolerated
- Impersonating another person, organization, or brand is prohibited
- Spam, including mass unsolicited messages sent through any platform communication tool, is prohibited
If you experience any of the above, please contact us and we will look into it immediately.
5. Vendors and Venues
Vendors and venues must represent themselves and their services accurately.
- Service descriptions, pricing, and availability must be truthful
- Vendors and venues must honor commitments made to organizers
- Disputes between vendors, venues, and organizers are handled between those parties directly; FestEvental may intervene where platform policy has been violated
6. Enforcement
FestEvental reviews reported content and makes enforcement decisions based on these standards and our Terms of Service.
Enforcement actions may include:
- A warning and request to correct the content
- Removal of the event listing or profile
- Suspension of the account
- Permanent ban from the platform
We aim to be fair and consistent. If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, use our contact form to request a review.
7. Reporting
If you see an event, listing, or user that you believe violates these standards, use the Report option on the relevant page or use our contact form. We review all reports and take action where warranted.
